Verification

A notice is not the end of the workflow. The listing stays on its schedule, every later observation of the seller attaches to the open period, and the product records the outcome from what it sees — not from what the seller says, and not from silence.

Cure

The period closes as cured when enough fresh, sufficiently covered observations of the same seller on the same product show a price at or above the policy — by default two, at least twelve hours apart, each under seventy-two hours old. The case rests at Monitoring, the sequence run stops, and the cured this period figure on Overview moves. The full rule, and every reason a period will not close, is on Case lifecycle.

• A seller who hides the price has not raised it. The period stays open.
• A seller who disappears from the listing has not cured. The period stays open.
• A seller who writes “we have fixed it” has made a claim. The period stays open until the fix is observed.

Recurrence

A later confirmed candidate for the same seller and product opens a new period on the same case. The earlier period is never reopened — it is a closed historical record — so the case shows period 1, cured on a date, and period 2, open since a later date, with the hours between. Recurrence is derived from that chain and shown on the case list, the case page and the seller’s history.

Whether the new period starts a new sequence run, and at which stage, is your program’s decision when a person chooses Prepare notice on the case again. The product does not escalate on its own because a seller relapsed.
