Connect Amazon
Authorize MapProtector against your Seller Central account through the Selling Partner API so it can read the offers on your listings.

MapProtector reads offers through Amazon’s Selling Partner API, using an authorization you grant from your own Seller Central account. Nothing is scraped, no password is shared, and the authorization can be withdrawn from either side at any time.
Before you begin
- You need a Brand Admin role in the workspace and a second factor enrolled. The connection screen requires a fresh second-factor confirmation.
- You need the sign-in for the Seller Central account that owns the listings. Only the person who holds it can give the consent — MapProtector staff cannot do it for you.
- Amazon may ask you to confirm the marketplaces the authorization covers. Choose every marketplace you want monitored.
Connecting
- Open Configuration › Amazon (
/integrations/amazon). - Read What MapProtector reads and And what it does not. The product reads listing offers and the identity of the seller behind each offer. It does not read orders, customers, inventory or financial data.
- Choose Continue to Amazon. You are taken to Seller Central to sign in and approve the authorization. If you started from the Selling Partner Appstore instead, the screen says so and the flow continues from the same place.
- When Amazon returns you to MapProtector, the screen reads Amazon is connected and shows the seller account, the marketplaces and the roles granted.
- Choose Test connection. A successful test records Last verified and Last successful sync.
What the screen shows

Reconnecting and disconnecting
If a test fails, the screen reads Last verification failed with the reason MapProtector can state. Reconnect repeats the authorization from the beginning. Disconnecting withdraws MapProtector’s ability to read offers; existing observations, cases and evidence are kept, and scanning stops until you reconnect.
If the screen says Amazon cannot be connected
Amazon cannot be connected in this environment means the workspace’s environment has not been configured for Amazon authorization. Contact support; there is nothing to fix on your side.
